A14861-00 FANUC TUBING BUNDLE CONVERSION KIT
A new kit (A14861-00) has been introduced to enable the conversion of TB66X tubing bundles to the FANUC specific
configuration. This kit includes all the necessary components to convert and plug the affected lines within the tubing
bundle. The kit includes six (6) individually labeled and pre-assembled tube and fitting assemblies, and four (4) plug
assemblies. To complete this change, a flat head screw driver and petroleum jelly (A11545-00 or equivalent) are required.
The following instructions will guide the user through the removal and replacement of the affected lines in the tubing
bundle.
1. Remove the retention plate by loosening the four (4) screws. These screws are captured by the retention plate. The
plate and screws should remain attached when removed from the tubing bundle. This will help to ensure that none of
the screws are lost.

2. Next, remove the following lines from the tubing bundle: CW (Cup Wash), BA RTN (Bearing Air Return), BA/PT
(Bearing Air/Paint Trigger), BRK (Brake), P1 IN (Paint 1 In), DL1 (Dump Line 1), DL2/AIR (Dump Line 2/Air), SOL
(Solvent), P2/CW SOLV (Paint 2/Cup Wash Solvent), and P2T/CW (Paint 2 Trigger/Cup Wash). The positions have
been highlighted in the image below.
3. Open the kit and verify that all components are included. All of the six (6) tube and fitting assemblies should be labeled
on the free end of the tubes with what function it corresponds to. The four (4) plug assemblies are engraved with part
number for reference.
4. Insert the four (4) plug assemblies into their corresponding holes as shown in the picture below. Part numbers are
engraved on the plugs for reference.

5. Insert the tube and fitting assemblies in the corresponding holes. The figure below notes the identification of the
holes. When inserting the assemblies, verify that the key on the barb fitting is aligned with the key on the receiver. If
these are not aligned, it will be impossible to insert the assembly fully into the tubing bundle. If the two keys are not
perfectly aligned, use a pair of parallel action pliers or needle nose pliers to move the two pieces into alignment.
6. Once all the plugs and tube and fitting assemblies are in place, replace the retention plate. Due to the tight tolerances
on the retention plate, it may be necessary to realign each of the fittings to allow the plate to sit flush with the face of
the tubing bundle. With the retention plate flush, tighten the four (4) captured screws back into the tubing bundle plate.
7. Before reassembly on to the robot, apply a small amount of petroleum jelly (A11545-00 or equivalent) on to all of the
O-rings installed on the barb fittings and plugs. This will aid in ease of assembly with the applicator.
