1. Turn off power and air supply to equipment.
2. Release all air pressure from system.
3. Remove any necessary hose wrap and debris to
expose connection.
NOTE: Be careful not to nick or cut cables, material
hoses, or any other component in the hose bundle.
4. Identify air hose connection in need of replacement.
5. Disconnect fittings (Fig. 1).
6. Remove old air hose fittings by cutting hose directly
behind ferrule. (Fig. 2)
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD: Disconnect
all power sources before accessing any
electrical connections in the Control Module,
Fluid Modules, or hoses. Equipment must be
serviced by trained personnel only.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD: Improper
equipment grounding, poor ventilation, open
flame or sparks can cause a hazardous
condition and result in fire or explosion and
serious injury.
NEVER MODIFY THE EQUIPMENT:
Do not modify the equipment unless the
manufacturer provides written approval.

7. Spray tip of freshly cut hose (inside and out) with
soapy water. (Fig.3)
8. Install new ferrule by pushing onto end of hose. (Fig.
4)
9. Install barbed fitting into end of hose. (Fig 5, Table 1)
10. Crimp ferrule using appropriate crimping tool. (Fig. 6)
NOTE: Ensure fitting and ferrule are entirely seated
onto hose by crimping. Failure to do so may result in
premature connection failure.
11. If mating fitting also needs repair, repeat steps 6-11. If
not, move to step 13.
NOTE: Do not install thread tape on a male NPT that
mates with a female swivel fitting. The swivel fitting
is designed to be a metal-to-metal seal, and does not
need tape.
12. Reconnect hoses (Fig. 7)
NOTE: Do not over tighten fittings, or damage may
occur.
13. Turn on air, and check for leaks with soapy water.
